FTP Remission Process Begins for US Players
Black Friday took place in April of 2011 and since that time; former US players of Full Tilt Poker have been waiting patiently for their funds to be given back to their bank accounts. The process has been long and just this week, the claims administrator for the company, Garden City Group, has now opened up a website for claims to take place.

The official remission process has begun and players who had contacted the group in the past should have received an email with instructions on how to go about the remission process. Those who did not receive the email can go to the site, Full Tilt Poker Claims, and file a petition for refund.

Players have until November 16th to file a new claim. The Garden City Group was the claims administrator who was hired to take on the challenge of repayment to US players. The group released a statement on their site, which addressed the repayment process by stating:

“The amount that an eligible petitioner is entitled to receive will equal the final balance in the petitioner’s account with Full Tilt Poker as of April 15, 2011,” read a statement from Garden City Group.

“Once you log on using the petition number and control number...you will receive directions for accessing your account information and filing a petition and/or disputing the reported account balance.”

This is the initial process for remission. More directions can be found at the Full Tilt Poker Claims site. Players are recommended to check their email account for information before filing a new claim. If an email is not found, players will need to go to the site and create a new petition. The process is fairly simple and takes just a few minutes to complete.
