Poker Licenses granted to Pennsylvania Casinos
Poker lovers in Pennsylvania will be excited to hear that the Gaming Board of the state is continuing to grant licenses to state casinos to add various poker games. Three more casinos were granted licenses to add such games as Let it ride poker, three card poker and Texas hold’em.

The licenses were granted after public hearings were held. Everyone gets to have their say at the hearings but the final decision is in the Gaming Control Boards hands. This past week the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, Mount Airy casino Resort and the Sands Resort in Bethlehem were granted licenses to add the games.

To be able to add games such as three card poker and let it ride poker, the casinos in the state are expected to pay $16.5 million each in addition to giving the state 14% of all tables gaming revenue. The local governments will also get 2% of revenues at each casino as well.
