PokerStars hosting Heads-Up Challenge with Team Pros
On March 5th and 6th, PokerStars will be hosting a Team Pro Online Heads-Up Challenge which will see online poker professionals taking on each other to see who is the very best at the game. Twelve online qualifiers will take place with while 20 pros will go head to head for a chance to win $5,000.

On Saturday, three rounds will take place in a format known as best of one turbo. The semi-finals and the final round will be a best of three turbo format. If a qualifier is able to go all the way and win the challenge, the player will earn a package to the EPT Grand Final which will take place in Monte Carlo. This package has a value of $10,000.

Several players are set to compete including Marc-Andre Ladouceur, Mikey Petersen and Jamie Staples. PokerStars released a statement on the events leading up the challenge, stating that players who competed in the Team Pro Online Heads Up Challenger qualifier that took place on the 1st paid only $11 to compete and one can win a share of the $5,000 prize pool plus earn one of two of the EPT prize packages.

Players can do so by using the ‘backing ticket’ provided to predict who the winner of the Challenge will be. The ticket can be used to register for one freeroll out of 32. One will represent each of the participating players in the Challenge. The final will take place on the 7th when the winner will be named and the cash plus prize packages will be awarded.

This is just one of many ways PokerStars offers players the opportunity to compete in quality poker gaming. There is still time to compete, so be sure to visit PokerStars and take part in the unique challenge option.
