Three Card Poker and Other Table Games to be offered at New Pennsylvania Casino
A new casino will be opening this April in Pennsylvania and visitors will be able to play several electronic table games including Three Card Poker and Blackjack. The new casino will be called The Meadows Racetrack and Casino and has cost $175 million to build. The new casino will be able to offer the Three Card Poker and Blackjack electronic tables because the state Gaming Control Board ruled that the games are legal in the state. Table games with a live dealer are illegal in the state of Pennsylvania.
The board came to the conclusion to deem the games legal because they are run by a computer program much like a slot machine. The general manager of The Meadows, Mike Graninger commented that because the casino will be offering the new technology they will be better able to compete with nearby casinos in other states.
Graninger also commented that he is always asked when the casinos will get table games in the state. It seems as though everyone wants the option to play and Graninger says the electronic table games are a great way to offer the games that customers would like to play.
